CrowsToes Absolum Your Potions Master

I've been admiring CrowsToes' polishes for a long time but never purchased any for some reason. Perhaps I'm crazy? I really just want the entire line and couldn't pick just one. Have you checked them out? If you're a glitter lover, you will be just as overwhelmed and smitten as I have been.

CrowsToes Absolum Your Potions Master has so much going on. This is one coat on top of one coat of Cult Nails Nevermore (my favorite black creme). I guess I shouldn't say one coat of Absolum. I didn't apply it normally. I put a big blog on my nail and moved it around my nail quickly with the brush. I just did that once for each nail and then used two coats of Seche Vite to make it smooth.

This picture is a bit over exposed, I apologize. Look at all that glittah!

Ok, let's see if I can list everything that's in this glitter bomb. *Ahem* Dark blue, turquoise, green, silver, black, and orange hex glitter along with a sprinkling of bar glitter. I like that there isn't a ton of bar glitter and the pop of orange is my favorite thing about this polish. As you can see there are a lot of different sizes of hex glitter. The smaller hexagons seem to fill in the gaps from the larger pieces which gives it better coverage. I recommend it, I adore it, I want more CrowsToes!!!

I bought CrowsToes Absolum from Llarrowe. It's sold out right now but if you follow Llarowe on Facebook and sign up for her newsletter you can see the announcements for when it will be restocked.

Do you love it? Do you have any CrowsToes? If you do, I'm jealous. =)

Dollish Polish Bazinga!

I recently started watching The Big Bang Theory with my husband (I've seen every episode now). Being a geek, he relates to the characters and gets most of the jokes. I relate to knowing a geek and don't get most of the joke. When Dollish Polish released a collection in honor of The Big Bang Theory I had to have this appropriately named gem, Bazinga!

Bazinga! has a yellow tinted base and a fabulous mixture of glitter. There are black circles, white rectangles, red squares, black bars, small white squares, neon yellow hexagons in two sizes, and red hexagons. Did I get it all? I had to fish for the white rectangles and black circles but it wasn't too difficult to get them out.

I wore two coats of Bazinga! over Cult Nails Nevermore (the perfect black creme) with two coats of Seche Vite top coat on top.

I love the white rectangles and black circles.

Close up!!

I purchased this polish on Llarowe

OPI Eurso Euro, OPI OY Another Polish Joke, and OPI

Do you have OPI Eurso Euro? It's blue polish perfection in my opinion. A must have for your polish stash. It's a dark blue creme that leans a tiny bit to the purple side. It's very close to being a one coater. I only used two coats because I had a teeny tiny bald patch on one of my nails. You couldn't really see it in person but through a macro lens you can! Those darn lenses, you can't get away with anything!

OPI Eurso Euro is perfection. It's formula is perfect, OPI hit it out of the park with this one.

I used one coat of OPI OY-Another Polish Joke on my accent nail. I love how it looks with OPI Eurso Euro. I think I like it with this polish better than with OPI Can't Find my Czechbook. What do you think? Do you like it on the lighter or darker blue or both equally?

I adore OPI OY-Another Polish joke as a layering polish but don't worry, I'll swatch it on it's own and give you the full report.

I had to try OPI on this luscious blue. I love how perfectly these go together.

This is just one coat! Do you see how much glitter you get from the brush?
Good job OPI!

Do you like OPI OY Another Polish Joke or OPI better on OPI Eurso Euro? How many times have I typed OPI in this post? j/k

OPI Can't Find my Czechbook, OY Another Polish Joke, and

I'm at the point with my nail polish collection that when new mainstream collections come out, I don't really "need" most of them. Don't get me wrong, they are beautiful I just usually have a dupe or something close enough that I don't want it. The OPI Euro Centrale Collection is beautiful but I only got four polishes because my polish stash is out of control. OPI Eurso Euro is the fourth polish that I'll show you in another post.

Today, I'm showing you OPI Can't Find My Czechbook with OPI and OPI OY-Another Polish Joke layered on top.

OPI Can't Find My Czechbook is a light sky blue creme. It has a fabulous formula that went on smoothly and without issue. It has the perfect consistency and was opaque within two coats. Dry time was quick. I put on one coat of OPI OY-Another Polish Joke on my accent nail.

Here is a close up of my accent nail. I love how OPI - OY Another Polish Joke looks layered on top of OPI Can't Find My Czechbook. It's not your typical gold glitter. The pieces are very delicate, almost like tiny flakies. It's very smooth to the touch as well.

OPI (love the name) is a glitter topper. It has pink, purple, light and dark blue, hex glitter (in various sizes) in a clear base. The formula was nice as well and had a good glitter pay off.

Here's a close up! I sponged OPI on to make a glitter gradient.

Bottle close up!

Did you get anything from the OPI Euro Centrale collection?

Emily de Molly Black Forest

Emily de Molly is an indie brand I discovered several months ago. Black Forest is the first polish I saw from this brand and I couldn't wait to get it. Unfortunately, it took about four months to finally successfully purchase it. Indie brands are usually one person and they can only make so much product. It's especially hard when they aren't made in the country you live in. You have to wait for shipments to come to a local stockist and then you might have a window of seconds to buy what you want. It seems silly to sit at a computer during a specific window of time for the small chance you'll get to buy a bottle of polish. It is silly and that's ok with me. There are so many other beautiful polishes from Emily de Molly that I hope to get someday. Perhaps when the hype calms down I'll be able to get the ones on my list. Until then, here is Black Forest.

Black Forest has a black jelly base and green hex glitter. I used one coat of Cult Nails Nevermore (black creme) as my base color and then applied three very thin coats of Black Forest. Top coat is Seche Vite as usual.

I wish I had only used two coats of Black Forest but I got a little crazy with the glitter.

This polish is far more beautiful in person. With the base being so dark and most of the glitter being underneath it, it's hard to photograph (for me). I love how the green glitter is hidden in the layers of the black jelly base, it gives it a lot of depth and interest. I heart it.

My cat, Mouse wanted to say hello. He was head butting my hand which made it extremely hard to take pictures. He thinks he needs to have attention 24/7. Stinker.

What do you think of Black Forest? Do you have any Emily de Molly polishes? I seriously want them all. Cosmic Forces is the one I want the very most. Which one is your favorite?

Emily de Molly nail polish is made in Australia. I live in the U.S. so I purchased Black Forest on Llarowe

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I just wanted to pop in today to wish everyone a Happy St. Patrick's Day. Hopefully the Leprechauns didn't get you and your having a wonderful day with friends and family.

For my mani, I used ONE coat of Cult Nails Nevermore which is a creamy smooth black creme polish. One coat ladies. You need it. I love it. Moving on.

I then sponged on China Glaze Running in Circles from my cuticles to the middle of my nail. Running in Circles is one of the most gorgeous green glitters I have in my stash. You need it. I love it. On to the bling.

I used green heart shaped rhinestones to create a four leaf clover on my accent nail. Then I used three small rhinestones as the stem. I used a dotting tool and top coat to stick the stones on. They are from Born Pretty and I will be doing a full review of the circle and heart stones soon. I think they are adorable and I can't wait to use them again.

I used Seche Vite as my top coat.

My OCD is kicking in and this picture is making me twitch. What's worse, the clover being upside down or the bottle? *twitch*

Here's a lovely macro of the bling. Ignore the bubbles. =(

That's all for today!!

Zoya Chyna

Zoya Chyna was made just for me just in case you weren't aware. They already had a Mira so they picked a different name. J/k I saved Chyna for last because it's my favorite. I was very lucky to have swatched this on a sunny day so I was able to take pictures outside. I want to take all of my pictures outside but there is this thing called Winter that makes it miserable to do so.

I took 97 pictures of this polish. I love red, glitter, and Zoya what can I say!?

Without Top Coat (Outside/Direct Sunlight)
Chyna is a deep red that's full of silver shimmery goodness and Zoya's magical texture particles.

I thought that this didn't have the silver glitter because I couldn't see it in the bottle or on the nail. When I removed it, I saw it.

The formula was the best out of the whole collection. I almost only needed one coat. One coat!! I had a tiny bit of patchiness that required a second coat. It applied smoothly but still needed extra dry time.

Without Top Coat (Inside/Light Box)
I love how the bottle looks in this picture.

With Top Coat (Outside/Direct Sunlight)
I can't decide if I like Chyna better with or without top coat. What do you think?
I used two coats of Seche Vite to make it smooth and glossy.

 I love this picture.

That concludes Zoya PixieDust Week! Which polish is your favorite?

Zoya Godiva

I have a hard time finding neutral or nude polishes that look good with my skin tone. I'm just so darn pale! I know, I know I should go outside more or go to a tanning bed. Even if I did, it wouldn't help. I'm either super pale or super red. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that I like how Zoya Godiva looks against my skin tone. You're probably looking at my pictures and thinking, "girl you have lobster hands" or something close to that. =) Someday I'll master my camera but that day just hasn't come yet. I took almost 100 pictures with different settings and lighting and Godiva just wanted to photograph more brown and yellowy than it really is.

It's much lighter than this picture shows.

This picture is the closest one to it's real color.

It's more like this. =)

Here it is in the wrong color with two coats of Cult Nails Wicked Fast Top Coat.

Godiva is a beautiful, creamy, and sparkly polish.

I adore it.

Let's talk formula. Godiva is a bit thin and sheer so wipe off your brush to avoid flooding your cuticles. I used four thin coats. I really only needed three but for my macro lens I used three to avoid having VNL (visible nail line) in my pictures.

Just like the other PixieDusts, it needs extra dry time and is very easy to remove.

Tomorrow, I'm showing you the last polish from this collection. It's also my favorite.

Thanks for reading!
